A Difficult Decision We Made for a Safer Future

Dear ANSQUE User,

Hello.

Recently, some observant users have noticed something: after purchasing the new GU01 kit, they find themselves needing to keep two apps on their phones—the original ANSQUE app, and the brand new Koocam.

We know this has caused inconvenience. Today, we want to be completely transparent with you: how this happened, and why we had to do it.

1. What Happened?

In simple terms: One model (GU01), two versions.

If you own both old and new devices, you will indeed need to use both apps. This was our oversight—during the upgrade process, we failed to clearly inform you about the version differences on our sales pages. For this, we sincerely apologize.

2. Why a New App?

This was not an ordinary software update. To bring you more advanced encryption technology and smarter AI capabilities, we have completely upgraded the core technology of the GU01.

These powerful new features—whether it's the Security Report or the Real-time Magnifier—require a more powerful "brain" and an entirely new software platform to support them. Therefore, we have launched a "Family Brain" system centered around the new GU01 hub, powered by the Koocam APP, designed specifically for the AI Security 2.0 era.

Simply put: Koocam is built to carry the future. ANSQUE will continue to guard the present.

3. If You Are Already Affected: Three Solutions

If you have already purchased the new device and are troubled by having two apps, we have prepared three solutions for you to choose from:

Option A: Keep Your New Device + Exclusive Compensation

Continue using your new GU01 and the Koocam app to experience the latest AI features. We will provide:

  • 20% partial refund of your order amount
  • 6-month extended warranty

— as our apology for the inconvenience of having two apps.

Option B: Free Exchange for Unified App Management

If having "one app to manage everything" is most important to you, we will free of charge exchange your device for a Classic GU01 compatible with your old system, so all your devices can continue to be managed under one roof with the ANSQUE app.

Don't worry about the process: We will cover all exchange costs and have a dedicated person follow up to ensure everything gets back on track as quickly as possible.

To further express our apologies, we will also gift you 2 solar panels and extend the warranty by 6 months, hoping you can feel our sincerity.

Option C: Full Refund

If none of the above options are satisfactory, we also offer a full refund for your new camera, leaving you with no loss. Just tell us your choice, and we'll handle the rest.

4. Our Commitment to the Future

  1. The ANSQUE App Will Never Be Discontinued: All your existing classic series devices will continue to receive official, stable maintenance, running in parallel with the Koocam platform.
  2. Working Toward a Unified Experience: We have made "unified multi-device management" our highest priority. We are working hard to optimize the cross-platform experience between the two apps, hoping to make managing your entire ANSQUE smart home more convenient in the future.
  3. Koocam Leads AI Innovation: All future AI features will be launched on the Koocam platform first. If you choose to stay with ANSQUE, you'll be missing out on new features, but never on security.

5. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can my old device use the Koocam app? A: No. Old devices must continue using the ANSQUE app, which we will continuously maintain.
Q: Can my new device use the ANSQUE app? A: No. New devices must use the Koocam app to access all functions.
Q: Will one of the two apps suddenly stop working? A: Absolutely not. Both apps will be maintained long-term. This is our solemn promise.
Q: Is it possible to have one app for everything in the future? A: This is our highest priority goal. While it's not achievable now, we are working hard to make it happen.
